about
Recorded and produced by Chris Anderson in his studio, Woodstock, New York.
An interesting note: a fire occurred in the studio after the tracks had been completed and we thought we had lost the work. But Chris called to tell us he had the reel tracks with him in his mobile truck on location! They were saved!
lyrics
I spoke to the Lord today
I said Lord please show me a way.
My life is bitter and broken apart,
and my heart bleeds deep inside.
And He said "Come to Me, Come to Me"
"Let Me, not you, Let Me, not you
"Let Me do what needs to be."
I spoke to the Lord today.
'Lord, have thine own way.
I haven't a clue-please show me- teach me what to do
Please show me a way"
And He said:
"Come to Me, Come to Me
Let Me, not you, Let Me, not you
Let Me do what needs to be."
spoken: You know I spoke to the Lord today, and He showed me all
the friends He had sent to help me walk my way. Now, they didn't tell me what I should or shouldn't do, but they told me that my life was
valuable and priceless..just as your life is that valuable and priceless to Him, too....
And He said: Come to Me, Come to Me
Let Me, not you, Let Me, not you Let me do what needs to be.
